The Ford F-150 was named Truck of the Year, while the new Mustang Mach-E was named Utility of the Year, once more highlighting the exceptional quality and performance of these Ford models.
It’s hard enough to win a single NACTOY award, let alone two. The last time an automaker managed to win multiple awards in the same year was 2014, but there was no real doubt that Ford would manage the feat in 2021.
Ford F-150 and Mach-E Awards
After all, the Ford F-150 and Mustang Mach-E are no strangers to earning awards together. They were also named the Top Rated Truck and Top Rated Luxury EV of 2021 by Edmunds, and the 2021 Green Truck of the Year and Green Car of the Year by Green Car Journal.
That’s on top of a number of other individual awards amassed by the two Ford vehicles. In January alone, the F-150 was named the winner of Kelley Blue Book’s Best Buy Award while the Mustang Mach-E was named the Best Car to Buy 2021 by The Car Connection and Green Car Reports.

Ford recently earned fourth place overall in the 2020 Brand Intimacy Study for being one of the most beloved brands. Furthermore, Ford was the highest-rated automotive brand in MBLM’s study, which is why we at L&L Motor couldn’t be prouder to offer Ford models at our dealership.
What is the Brand Intimacy Study
For 10 years, the Brand Intimacy Study has been examining customers’ emotional connections to different brands. Using the Brand Intimacy Quotient, the study scores brands based on the character, prevalence and intensity of intimacy that customers have with brands. More specifically, the study looks at six different archetypes of connection. These include fulfillment, enhancement, identity, nostalgia, ritual and indulgence.
How Ford performed in the study
Ford had an increase in all six archetypes, earning it fourth place overall. Among men, Ford was the top-rated brand overall, and it was the top-ranked automotive brand among young drivers between 18 and 34 years old.
61.6 percent of respondents in the study have been customers of Ford for less than a decade, indicating that Ford has many relatively new customers. In addition, 22 percent of Ford customers revealed that they felt as though they could not live without the brand.

This just in: The all-new 2019 Ford Ranger, the most recent addition to the Ford lineup, has been rated the most fuel-efficient gas-powered midsize pickup in America, beating out competition like the Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon, and Toyota Tacoma.
So just how efficient is the new Ford Ranger? According to EPA estimates, the Ranger achieves up to 21 miles per gallon in the city, 26 on the highway, and 23 combined. That comes from the 2.3-liter EcoBoost® gas engine on 4×2 models. Even 4×4 Rangers are highly efficient with this engine, at an EPA estimated 20 miles per gallon in the city, 24 on the highway, and 22 combined.
This engine earns more than class-leading fuel economy, however. At 310 lb-ft, the EcoBoost engine also boasts best-in-class torque and it also offers best-in-class towing capacity at 7,500 pounds.
“Midsize truck customers have been asking for a pickup that’s Built Ford Tough,” remarked Todd Eckert, Ford truck group marketing manager. “And Ranger will deliver with durability, capability, and fuel efficiency, while also providing in-city maneuverability and the freedom desired by many midsize pickup truck buyers to go off the grid.”
Ford recognizes the importance of having a strong education. That is why the Ford Motor Company Fund recently awarded $400,000 in scholarships and grants to the recipients of the Ford Driving Dreams Grants.
These grants were awarded at the 88th Annual League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Convention held in San Antonio, Texas. The funds will be distributed to 10 Councils and LULAC National Educational Service Centers that help students graduate from high school and then pursue higher education opportunities.
These centers are spread across the country from Hollister, California to Washington, DC. In addition, Council #44017 located in South Jordan, Utah will also receive funding.
“Ford Fund is very proud of its collaboration with LULAC. Together we provide invaluable resources to help the councils build a stronger and brighter future for thousands of students in their own communities,” said Joe Avila, manager, Ford Motor Company Fund. “Education has long been a priority for Ford and we remain committed to helping our young people advance in school and reach their academic dreams.”
Since its inception, the Ford Driving Dreams Grants have awarded more than $1.3 million to help students across the United States succeed.
Here at L&L Motor Co., we are proud to be part of a company that understands the value of a good support system and are pleased to see one of these grants going to serve a community here in Utah.
Recognizing Ford’s commitment to ethical business decisions, the Ethisphere Institute recently named the automaker to the 2015 list of the World’s Most Ethical Companies. In fact, Ford was the only auto manufacturer to be named to the list, which says a lot about how it does business.
According to Ford, the Ethisphere judges companies based on a framework to determine a company’s performance in an objective, consistent and standardized manner. This includes ethics/compliance, corporate citizenship/responsibility, culture of ethics, governance/leadership, innovation, and reputation.
“This award celebrates doing business the right way, and making the right choices every day,” said Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford. “Ethics and corporate citizenship are important factors that affect a company’s reputation and success, and we are proud Ford is the only automaker to have received this honor for six consecutive years.”
The 2015 World’s Most Ethical Companies list is important because it recognizes companies that you would want to do business with. Ford is always striving to bring customers the best, most affordable products possible. If you’re looking for quality and craftsmanship, think Ford—and think L&L Motors Ford!
